Welcome to Kites QldKites Queensland are a network of kite flyers focused on land based kiting. We fly ALL types of kites, from small ones to giant ones, power kites, stunt kites, box kites, fighter kites and all wind power displays.
We Absolutely Love Kites! Kites have evolved from the simple diamond kite shape.... As a club we have established a deep culture of respect, fairness, integrity, equality and responsibility ensuring all members understand and adhere to KQ codes of conduct. We are a inclusive club and welcome members from all ages, culture, gender and abilities. Our club fully supports all members where everyone is valued and included. Ongoing Education and Training is important to ensure the next generation of Kite flyers.
We offer our members connections to other kite flyers to develop skills in both kite making and kite flying. We are also available to conduct workshops and displays world wide. Our Club Originally Created and Developed REDCLIFFE KITEFEST with the help and Support of MBRIT. This is our Main Club Event in Which We are Very Proud to Present to the Public. Kitefest Entry is Free and We need Your Help to Purchase a Show Kite. Show Kites are Very Impressive and Very Expensive. If you Love the Big Kites Help Keep Them Soaring. |
